Texturing

The modelling phase of the ident animation is finished and now i've began texturing my models.



A glow effect was added at the back of the spaceship to give the illusion that its engine is burning at the back.

The pod had to be textured seperately since it couldn't be textured together. The model also had to be unwrapped using automatic mapping and then stitched together using a specific tool in Maya.


The logo itself was simply textured using blinn and applying black and yellow to the ident.

The moon had to UV mapped and afterwards was just simply covered over with the rocky texture to give the illusion as the moon's surface.
